Effective 26th June, Resimac in New Zealand reduced their Prime Low Doc rates and at the same time increased their Prime Standard rates.

Effective 24th June, SBS increased their floating and some of their fixed rates by up to 0.15% p.a.

Effective 23rd June, AMP introduced further discounts on their variable rates by 0.20% p.a. This discount applies to new home loans on the Professional Package with a loan amount greater than or equal to $500,000 and with an LVR of 80% or less. It is also available for top up loans of $10,000 or more for existing customers’ qualifying loans.

Effective 19th June, Westpac in New Zealand follows the Official Cash Rate change and increase their variable rates by 0.25% p.a.

Effective 12th June, ING Direct enhanced their interest rate structure for Orange Advantage and SmartPack Mortgage Simplifier, with changes reduced to some of their variable rates.

Following the recent increase to the Official Cash Rate by Reserve Bank of New Zealand several lenders have already updated their rates accordingly.

Effective 10th June, Homeloans Ltd reduced their Ultra three, four and five year fixed rates by up to 0.16% p.a.

Effective 6th June ASB introduced a five year fixed rate housing special of 6.85% p.a., and reduced their two year fixed rate special to 5.85% p.a.

Effective 4th June, ME Bank reduced their one and five year fixed rates by up to 0.40% p.a.

Effective 4th June, the Co-operative Bank reduces their two year fixed rate by 0.14% p.a. and their four and five year fixed rates by 0.10% p.a.
